Written with my children’s author hat on a good few years ago, this is a story related to climate change.

When Faylinn Frost is woken up in the middle of the night by a fairy tapping on her bedroom window she thinks she is dreaming. The fairy turns out to be very real however, and she begs Faylinn for help. The fairy kingdom of Coldhaven is under attack from the evil Nathaniel and his creature, Sniffle. Nathaniel is capturing fairies and harvesting their magic dust to sell to the greedy people of the south lands. He has taken so much golden dust that the fairies can’t make enough magic to control the weather and Coldhaven is warming up.

I am beyond delighted to announce that Death at the Lychgate, the second Amy Rowlings mystery has been released in audiobook format by Ulverscroft, the biggest distributor and audiobook producer in the UK. Produced and recorded by Soundings and Isis Audio, the recording is available at all audiobook retailers.  Following Murder at the Mill, the first book in the series, the role of Amy Rowlings is reprised by the wonderful actress, Gemma Lawrence who really nails the character. I am delighted with her performance.

The audiobook will also be distributed to UK libraries via Ulverscroft’s Ulibrary service.
